Hell On Earth - We have to drop Eindhoven Show tomorrow... |
19.10.2008 |
Today's show in Mulhouse will be our final show instead of the one tomorrow in
Eindhoven. There's been a logistics problem and we can't get a new Van to drive
back from Eindhoven - so we have to kick it today and cancel Eindhoven :-(
sorry about that, it's an annoying situation.
Hell On Earth Report - (Milan) Alcatraz... |
16.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport : 15.10.2008 Alcatraz, Milan. Fedi’s favourite town ;-) the club is huge. HUGE. There’s room for about 3000 people here, haha! But with a giant curtain the whole thing gets remarkably smaller and also a bit more clubby. We get a shitload of very tasty Italian food until late at night, we have to cut down on the sightseeing since we arrived quite late and we have a photo shooting on the rider. STYG open up furiously, followed by Animostiy and The Red Chord who both deliver. We are confident, winning over the crowd with Fedi’s fluent Italian and getting the people into circle and mosh pits; martins kick ass sound helps us to keep the more focused crowd listening and thus we leave the stage happy – we love Italy! Bus call is pretty early as we’re expecting the usual trouble at the border so I guess we’ve added an extra hour or two to the driving time for hassles with customs. Tomorrow means home to us so we’re all excited about great food and possibly also about seeing girlfriends… and getting rid of the dirty clothes.

Hell On Earth Report - (Munich) Backstage... |
15.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport : 14.10.2008 Backstage, Munich. So the whole place has been moved, rebuilt or whatever; it still looks like backstage and now it finally has some space on and off the stage, the sound was crushing and its great fun to play here! Things were a bit like in Vienna, most people preferred to listen to the first couple of bands and some danced, everyone seemed quite focused and saving the energy for later. We had a great response, more and more people got into it and by the end we had the crowd 2stepping and moshing the dancefloor left to right! Now we’re off to Milan, Italy – the show was almost cancelled by the way but now still happens since the presales have been doing good!

Hell On Earth Report - (Vienna) Arena... |
14.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport : 13.10.2008 Arena, Vienna
This must be one of the best clubs in Europe. I remember that we played here ages ago and now we get to see how much has changed in the past years. There’s loads of room for all the bands, half a dozen showers, very very decent food and a very spacious stage with enough room to put all our shit in. The show itself was very crowded, the hall filled up nicely and we met some old friends whom we spent most of time talking to; we had a very tight show and finally got the people dancing (they were very focused..) – Austria is also a place we definitely need to play more. After the show we chilled outside, talking and drinking and Nico went to show the mosh to some new friends. We had a very short drive to Munich and now we’re excited to play a completely different Backstage club!

Hell On Earth Report - (Prague) Abaton... |
13.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport : 12.10.2008 Abaton, Prague
What a night! It’s been a while since we played here but it seemed everyone who saw us in those other couple of times remembered to come along and make this an completely sick show for us! But to start off telling about an eventful day, lets just mention that our bus has no climate whatsoever or even functioning ventilation. So when it’s standing in the sun – like today – it’s just heating up in minutes to a level where you can’t breathe no more in the sleeping compartment. So we chilled outside, while about 15 – 20 people went to town. This is kinda important because after Action opened the night, the guys from STYG just arrived in time to play theyr set. But after them it was quiet. Animosity’s guitarists weren’t around, got lost in Prague – and as Red Chord also were partly absent there was no-one to really fill in. Red Chord were the first band to be complete so they went up as fast as possible. Animosity were completed while Red Chord were playing so everything worked out fine. When we went on stage, all hell broke loose, people went completely crazy and pushed us to the limits – topped by a girl jumping on stage to give our womanizer Nico a kiss haha! We went offstage feeling like kings and right now WOJ are kickin’ it. Can’t wait for Vienna!!!

Hell On Earth Report - (Dresden) E-Werk... |
12.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport : 11.10.2008 E-Werk, Dresden. This show was going to be big. The presales ranged at almost 1’000 and when we entered the place we were looking at a huge hall which - like in Magdeburg - normally would hold techno parties, but luckily enough, it wasn’t going to be tonight. Our backstage was a white fluffy milky room which kinda reminded of the Clockwork Orange club, just without the drink. People tonight were very focused and rather stood there listening to the brutality dealt out by STYG, Animosity and The Red Chord; it was up to us to get the people moshing. It seemed they’re all waiting for something, and as WOJ entered the stage you would know what for. This show was just a blast and at the end the crowd was just going on an on chanting so Walls came back on stage a second time to finish everyone off with a fatal wall of death / circle pit combination package.

Hell On Earth Report - (Berlin) SO36... |
11.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport : 10.10.2008 (Berlin) SO36. Another show in this amazing club, in this amazing city. It’s always a peak experience here since this is MAD’s hometown and home to the whole road crew. As soon as we arrived we had to get the gear out as one of the busses went to a garage to get its starter fixed. We settled down in the backstage, got stuff done and then we enjoyed a shitload of tasty food at yellow sunshine.
Still in Berlin, after the show
Thank you Berlin for such a killer show! We loved every minute of it, you people kicked serious ass and as mentioned before, it was a peak experience once again. The show was completely sold out, somehow 1’000 people were jammed into SO36 and made this show a night to remember – not just for us! So thanks again, everyone involved and also thanks to Justin for lending us his spare lollipop drumkit, you rule! We’re off to get some more food now haha!

Hell On Earth Report - Schweinfurt (Stadtbahnhof)... |
10.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport : 09.10.2008 Schweinfurt (Stadtbahnhof). We’ve played this club like half a dozen times already so we were quite surprised when we got in, loads of changes have been made, the place will hold much more people now and seeing the masses of old and new school people turning up it was well necessary. The Red Chord were fucking killing tonight, and the crowd response was crazy, they were also joined by Jesse STYG and Leo Animosity for some guest vocals! After this massive performance we had to give a 100% to succeed and guess what we did haha. No seriously we’ve had a blast on stage, the kids went nuts and WOJ worked out behind the stage while we played. After the show we had to kickstart the tourbus which wasn’t that easy especially because someone forgot to release the handbrake. But now were driving towards Berlin, and as we heard the show is gonna be sold out!

Hell On Earth Report - Paris (Gibus)... |
09.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport :08.10.2008 Paris (Gibus). Finally we made it to Paris, last time we actually played here was on a boat with Maroon, and then we had the No Mercy Tour Bus fuckup which kept us from seriously damaging La Loco. So this time we landed near the famous place de la république to give it another go at Gibus (actually a hip hop club and boy we didn’t expect what would happen. The club was really small regarding the stage, so we decided to play over one drumkit only (thx to Justin WOJ) and use all the same guitar heads to keep the chaos down. Time was also playing hard on us since the curfew was very strict so there was no time to fuck around and STYG almost got cancelled because they’ve been looking at the mona lisa too long, thinking “dude I thought it was bigger”. There was also a local supporting band which got cancelled in the last minute because of the time schedule. The show was crushing, people loved the bands and we entered the stage full of anticipation – our last show on that boat was a massacre - and it went down the same alley. People were f’ing butchering each other, and after some guy got knocked out the bouncers were standing on the ringside, making sure it’s not going to be murder. So it’s been a hotter than hell welcome from paris and we definitely have to come back here more often!

Hell On Earth Report - Lindau (Club Vaudeville)... |
08.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 07.10.2008 Lindau (Club Vaudeville). Today we were really close to Switzerland and we had some little visitors from the holy land – girlfriends and in Tom’s case his two kids Mara and Demian who also helped us setting up he stage. After a long period of rain we also got plenty of sun today which heated up the bus to an unbearable 40°C upstairs along with about 100% humidity so everyone was hanging around in this nice venue waiting for the food (au usual).
The stage offered enough space for the equipment so today we didn’t have to pile things up on each side of the stage, change over was nice and quick, enough time for the monitoring and thus we got a smashing sound and a killer performance! Cheers to everyone coming out and partying!

Hell On Earth Report - Jena (F-Haus)... |
07.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 06.10.2008 Jena (F-Haus). To sum it up, this was just a fantastic evening! We had great sound, killer support, a crowd going nuts from start to finish and some half naked people running from and to the shower which is located in a small room next to the stage. So we had great entertainment, great food and we can’t forget to mention that little falafel shop which gave the whole tour a nice after show snack.

Hell On Earth Report - Zaandam (De Kade)... |
06.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 05.10.2008 Zaandam (De Kade) Another well renowned venue on this tour, and with its small rooms and angled passages it reminds a lot of the underworld in London. We had to set up and sound check straight away, as the show was set as an afternoon show and was supposed to be over by 2100hrs. Despite or should I say thanks to the constant heavy rain the place was packed quickly and STYG rocked the house! The only thing that bothered us was the lack of space for 40 people, no towels, no heating and the food was served exactly when we went on stage – so we had to visit a nearby Domino’s to get some pizza and eye candy hah! Bus call was 2200hrs and now we’re in Jena getting ready for load in!

Hell On Earth Report - Magdeburg (Froximum)... |
05.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 04.10.2008 Magdeburg (Froximum). Today is different from yesterday, we’re playing a huge storage hall which offers the sound qualities of a metal bin and the comfort of a off street dump. Why would you put a show in a place that’s basically being deconstructed? And WHY would you book a techno party right next to it – when there’s just a lousy gay courtain separating the halls? That’s right, the sweet mosh of Evergreen Terrace and WOJ was constantly backed up by utz utz utz. However, the hundreds and hundreds of people didn’t really care and got a full dose of Hardcore and Metal. Evergreen Terrace had their first how today and it was a mighty punch! So now we’re complete again and looking forward to tomorrow’s show in Holland.

Hell On Earth Report - Saarbrücken (Roxy)... |
04.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 03.10.2008 Saarbrücken (Roxy). This was the second completely sold out show on this tour, even though it was moved just shortly before the show. I guess it also was the peak of the tour so far, as the kids went nuts from the first band on, and within a minute the whole place was dripping water from the roof. We also got great food and a great sound too so the night was perfect, the only negative thing was All Shall Perish’s farewell from the tour which was duely celebrated by the mysterious appearance of two mummies on stage and a backstage drinking contest between ASP and MAD who’s winner still isn’t established. There’s not much more to say than thank you Saarbrücken for an amazing evening!

Hell On Earth Report - Hasselt (Muziekodroom)... |
03.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 02.10.2008 Muziekodroom, Hasselt. Once again, nice memories of this place, we played here with HSB and Maroon on our last Hell On Earth Tour and it was absolutely great! Since we’ve spent the night here we’ve been up quite early and there was no one who could let us inside the backstage so we could shower or just get proper internet access – even though the rooms were completely empty and we were about to get in there anyway sooner or later.
The show itself was suffering from the very clean and dry sound, I went to listen to every band for a couple of songs and it just sounded odd without all the dirt and noise this music needs to sound good, maybe that was also the reason why people have been very focused all through the night. However, we had a great show and made a lot of new fans so we went to bed happy.

Hell On Earth Report - On The Way... |
02.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 01.10.2008 on the way.
After we lost touch with WOJ’s nightliner we took the ride over the channel anyway, got an extra hour on the sea – don’t know why but it’s been for free so we should be thankful right!? We headed towards Antwerpen as the we should be able to get into a venue to chill out, get some electricity and spend the day not looking like trailer trash. On the way we waited up for the second bus, who managed to miss the right exit again.
We didn’t do much than getting some drinks off a petrol station and then decided to go to Hasselt anyway, where we are now. There’s not much we can do, just the club’s café is open and we have got hours to kill. So we went for a stroll in the city, got some nice Italian food and then watched Liverpool reigning supreme over Eindhoven and finally went back to the busses for a quiet sleep.

Hell On Earth Report - Sheffield (Corporation)... |
01.10.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 30.09.2008 Corporation, Sheffield. First off, the bad news strike us. Tomorrow’s show in Peterborough has first been moved and then cancelled completely, so we’ll have an extra day off which no one really want. Maybe well get the chance to wash a few things. We can’t get a reasonable way of getting back to Switzerland so we probably have to cancel the last show too.
However, the corporation in Sheffield holds some dear memories, as this has been the place for our first UK show on the Stampin’ Ground tour luckily we got to play the big stage this time haha! The show was marked by a very tight time schedule so it’s been a lot of come on come on hurry up ready yeah all night just to be kicked out of the club before midnight with absolutely nothing to do. A whole bunch of us, ASP, Animosity and STYG decided to go for a UV bubble party, then switched for a drum’n’bass party which we turned down as the door price was somehow 10£ and not 3 as some rather tipsy girls thought. So we headed back to the busses and decided to have a party there.

Hell On Earth Report - Plymouth (White Rabbit)... |
30.09.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 29.09.2008 White Rabbit, Plymouth. We arrived early so we had a lot of time to check out a shopping mall which was just next door, we got shitloads of stuff from primark and some nice flavoured coffee! Since everyone was so busy running around London, we’re all in the backstage catching up on t’internet, anserwing emails and adding friends haha! We’ve also been taking some new pics, and you might wanna check them out on our myspace!
29.09.2008 during the show…
WOJ have just entered the stage and we’re sat backstage, enjoying the noise! Our show was great, we had a three rows of (more or less) serious headbangers in the front, hailing metal and manhood, or so. Anyhow, we enjoyed the show big time, lots of sweat had to go and we’ll file it under “nights to remember”.

Hell On Earth Report - London (Underworld)... |
29.09.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 28.09.2008 The Underworld, London. Yes, the show has been moved to one of LDN’s most famous clubs and since this is a first for us, we’re stocked to play here. Today’s line up has change quite a bit, we’re already up early but it leaves us time to hang out with girlfriends and other friends haha! All of us got quite busy shopping around Camden market and eating delicious food from the many stalls! The show was awesome, the place was packed and HOT! We’ve played a new set due to a shorter playing time and it f’ing rips, Martin gave us a smashing sound and so we kicked some ass! After the show we had some more vegan all you can eat and some delicious Indian curries, stuffing ourselves for the night. We left around 0200hrs towards Plymouth.

Hell On Earth Report - Essen (Fun Box Amalie)... |
28.09.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 27.09.2008 Fun Box Amalie Essen. We got kicked out of bed around 0400, one of the trailers broke down – great. We had to move the whole equipment into the busses, and pile the rest in the remaining trailer up to the roof. Happy memories… last tour with HSB and Maroon had the police stopping us because the trailer was too heavy. Oh well.
About the show now, Godzzfest was quite a surprise for us as it’s been ages since we last played Denmark and we had no idea what to expect. The club was really nice, we had a pool table, ping pong table, airhockey and more at our disposal so we looked forward to play. The kids already went nuts for All Shall Perish and they kept going wild for us! Megalolz! No seriously we were really happy with the show, it wasn’t the biggest audience but I dare say the prettiest. Jacob who helped us recording the album said hello and he also took some of us to a bar called Pitstop even though we couldn’t really stay as we had to go on an 8hr journey to Essen (which also featured the above mentioned incident).
Now we’re here, washing clothes, washing ourselves, setting up, the usual shitload of fun you have on tour haha!
28.09.2008 still in Essen… YO! I guess today was the best show so far, for every band I watched. Stick to your Guns set the standards with an absolutely mental show, the kids loved it and went berserk – and so did the band. Only All Shall Perish were actually able to match that madness with an astonishing display of insanity (or should I say wackiness?) people stormed the stage after their show to rip them off their goods. Honestly, it was hard to keep up the pace after such a blast, but the audience played along and supported us, so once again we had an amazing show! Bus call is in a couple of minutes and then it’s over to en-gur-land, en-gur-land, en-gur-laaaaaand!

Hell On Earth Report - Kolding (Godzzfest )... |
27.09.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 26.09.2008 Godzzfest Kolding. Last night’s show was a blast, once again. We’ve been here about 4 times now and we spread out to get our individual food (i.e. vegan burgers for the veggies and roasted duck for the murderers) and made it back just in time to see STYG rip it up. The Markthalle finally offered enough room for everyone’s equipment so setting up wasn’t such a pain but still very stressful. Apart from the come on, come on beforehand it turned out to be our best show so far, we had a killer sound out there and a great response from the audience.
While half of us and half of All Shall Perish indulged in an all night game of poker, some guys went to the reeperbahn and some posers went to bed. We left around 0600 towards danmark and now were here, waiting for our tour managers to get up so we can load in. fucking punks.

Hell On Earth Report - Hamburg (Markthalle)... |
26.09.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 25.09.2008 Markthalle Hamburg. Yesterday our troops were reinforced by the more or less local A Traitor Like Judas who also opened the set, after them Stick To Your Guns played an amazing set (I’m still feeling sorry for that bassdrum) and then Animosity, The Red Chord and All Shall Perish dealt out a serious amount of sonic torment. We were up next, and much to my discomfort the monitors were totally gone, so the first couple of songs probably sounded a bit whacky. But as soon as they were actually turned on, we steamrolled the place and left it to be completely torn down by the mighty Walls Of Jericho. Bus call was around 6 in the morning again, so we all had the chance to get a nice shower, try to impress Candace by lifting up some stone weights (she didn’t even bother) just to be outnumbered by Red Chords Singer. We ended up watching some X Factor Auditions, Alan Penfold’s version of the MJ classic “black or white” and Ant & Seb’s butchering of “mysterious girl” were the winners. It’s about 1000hrs on Thursday, we’re in hamburg, already parked behind the Markthalle and waiting to load in. Check back soon!

Hell On Earth Report - Hannover (Musikzentrum)... |
25.09.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 24.09.2008 Musikzentrum Hannover. we got here shortly after lunch and today was all about sorting out the merch, all the equipment and setting things up in no hurry whatsoever. WOJ did a long sound check so the sound will kill tonight; as a special local support A Traitor Like Judas are also joining in today for a single show, so it's packed on stage once again! right now we're getting some great food so cheers and check back soon!

Hell On Earth Report - Frankfurt (Batschkapp)... |
24.09.2008 |
Daily Tourreport: 23.09.2008 Batschkapp Frankfurt. First day! Were meeting up around 1000hrs, stuff our van with equipment, a ton of shirts and some bandmembers (cheers to alex for driving us) and then hit the road towards frankfurt. When we finally got there – as I understand the last ones - everyone else was already getting ready and setting up the backline, drumkits etc. All Shall Perish brought another drumkit which left the stage rather cramped. However, first days of a tour are always chaos, so things had to be arranged, stuff to be found and so on. The show started on time and even though animosity had to play a show with only one guitar, all the bands kicked ass and I can happily say that this package rips! We left the venue around 0600hrs to pick up animosity’s lost bandmember from the airport and now we’re heading to hannover!

We have to cancel Meadow Fest ... |
30.08.2008 |
We're extremely sorry but we have to cancel saturday's show at Meadow Fest,
Belgium. Fedi has an infected throat from last weekends cold and rainy mudbath
in Gränichen and as of today it still hasn't gotten any better. We waited until
the last minute but now we have no other choice than calling it off. We've been
looking forward to play Belgium again and we want to apologize to the promoters
for this and also to our fans for not being able to make it. I hope you can
understand.

We saved the world + show update... |
16.06.2008 |
Cheers to all the people coming to check us out at the Viva La Natur fest and the RockSound open air. If anyone knows where all the 13year old girls squealing for Simple Plan were when we played, let us know - we just had a whole bunch of ugly metalheads, haha! If we want to see that we can look at ourselves! But seriously, we had two great shows so thx to the people involved, Thomas, Dano, Petra and especially Born From Pain for lending us equipment!
We're concentrating on watching the Euro Championships now... three of our teams are still in, two of them are qualified so let's see what happens. especially when we rehearse next time. Next show up is none other than the With Full Force open air, we will play friday and possibly hang around on saturday. Yes that is correct, the show in Graz as we planned is cancelled, due to a misunderstanding we thought we had a booking but... well we don't. So it'll be later this year.
Rainforest Benefit Festival... |
04.06.2008 |
Cataract will play the "Viva La Natur" fest in Köln next weekend with Born From Pain, Misery Speaks, Narziss and many more, and this is a benefit which aims at raising money to safe millions of acres of rainforest from being destroyed! Here's the (german) press release from the organizers - and we sure hope to see you all there!
Freitag: ART BRUT - TURBOSTAAT - FIRE IN THE ATTIC - GHOST OF TOM JOAD - LOUIS LAMENT - WHISK?!
Samstag: BORN FROM PAIN - CATARACT - NARZISS - MISERY SPEAKS - THE BLACKOUT ARGUMENT - SIX REASONS TO KILL - CELLAR KIDS
Keep on celebrating and go tell all your friends! Euer Viva La Natur Team

03.06.2008 |
check out This to find some great pics from our show with Epitome of Frail! Imagine 200 people stuffed into a room that's barely larger than your bedroom, add metal and lots of beer and that's what happened. cheers again to everyone coming out!
Cataract's weekend was a blast!!... |
02.06.2008 |
We're back from two amazing shows in Aarau and Oberwolfach! We're still psyched about them, we had two packed venues (one was rather overpacked) and a shitload of fun! So cheers to all the people involved, Dinu and Jan for organizing, all the bands, and of course to the people coming out and moshing it up - it was absolutely smashing! We will upload some pics from the shows on our myspace, keep checking it... We're looking forward to this weekend where we will play Huttwil's Rock Sound Open Air along with Mercenary, Porcupine Tree, Within Temptation and many more - our show time has been moved to 20.45 on the outdoor stage, there should be enough room for everyone haha!!
We're gonna have a huge show update soon, I guess you all know why! stay metal!
Une soirée puissante...... |
22.05.2008 |
We've had a fantastic show at one of switzerland's nicest clubs - bikini test in La Chaux De Fonds! We've spent some quality time driving through the infinite woods of the swiss jura mountains and we've been rewarded with an ass kicking crowd! Thank you all for coming out and partying out, we've had an amazing show and LOTS of fun haha!! We've met some crazy guy there, we'll upload the pic as soon as we get it!
Cheers to all the people involved and especially Blown for supporting us and hooking us up with equipment, you guys rock! We will come back, hopefully very soon! Check out our other dates, next shows up are at Kiff and Wolfsklause in Aarau and South Germany respectively! see you there!!
Terra in Ashes!!... |
13.05.2008 |
Cheers to all the metalheads coming out and moshing it up last friday at terra - what an insane show! we knew the place was kinda small but if you imagine that the drumkit took away about half of the space we had you can figure out it was going to be a tight show haha! Vertebrae already heated up the place with some crunchy metal when we got ready to play a club which was actually smaller than our rehearsal room. We started off and the crowd turned the place into a madhouse - literally! Both PA and our equipment needed protection from being thrown over as the moshpit sometimes was bigger than the room... thanks to Phil and Terra for the show and everyone there for a wild night! Next show up will be this friday at Bikini Test in La Chaux De Fonds - see you all there!
Cataract, many show update!... |
08.05.2008 |
We've added some more shows in germany, belgium and austria! remember to contact mad-tourbooking for show requests and please read the last bnew entry. our mailserver was bugged and we possibly lost all incoming mails in april, i.e. we never recieved them. if you're waiting for an answer from us, contact us again. cheeeeerio!
Our mailserver was bugged... |
06.05.2008 |
Dear all, we're sorry to say that our mailserver wasn't working properly for most of april. we tried to work out what and how it did happen, but it remains a mystery. however, all adresses @cataract.cc seem to have been affected - most mails did not arrive and there was no notification to the sender which is the shit bit. some of the mails we've sent did not go out. if you're waiting for an answer by any of us, please be so kind and write us again. This was beyond our control and it's impossible for us to retrieve the lost mail. it's working again now - cheers, tobi!
for some better news, we're getting ready for this week's show at Terra Pfäffikon in Switzerland, it will be crazy as apparently the drumriser is a pooltable and the PA a broken TV set! the show also seems to be sold out so please try to verify that before you come... next weekend will have us play La Chaux De Fonds which will be our first show this year in the french part!
Back from italy!... |
15.04.2008 |
Hello all, we're completely battered from our small tour through italy, but we're also very happy! Breed Agency did a fantastic job, we had really great shows and tons of fun!! Cirié got us started right away; even though we had to play very late we had a great audience partying it down especially in the after hours; Gorizia must have one of the finest clubs in the world and Modena definately needs a new traffic system hahaha! Seriously, we had a spectacular weekend, thanks to all the people coming to check us out and supporting us, it was f'ing great to play for such insane crowds! cheers to Mao + Mainline (especially for helping us out), the local crews for putting up with us, to all the bands we've played with and who lent us equipment, it's much appreciated! next time can someone please order sunshine, italy and rain just don't mix! ci vediamo, i cataract

We've updated our show section... |
06.04.2008 |
hey there cataractians, we've updated our show section, loads of shows have
been added and hopefully loads of you will show up! we're still suffering from
the release show aftermath... it's been well killing us haha! ok just a short
note - all the best to Ralph from Disparaged who helped us out on bass in the
past autumn, he's a daddy as of last week! check our dates! g'day mate!
Cataract entering swiss album charts... |
05.04.2008 |
We've got some great news - we've entered the official swiss album top 100! Well on #79 but hey, better than nothing hahaha!! Allthough we've sold out all our copies of the limited edition cd's and the picture lp's at the release show (which doesn't count for the charts) there were still enough people buying our new album to have us enter the official top 100 - so maybe we would have made it to number one if we didn't sell it? everyone who got it at the rehearsal show shoud buy another copy!? However, the limited cd version and the pic lp are sold out at metal blade, we try's to get some more but MB say "nada!".
For the swiss residents - tonight Rockstation will broadcast an interview conducted with Fedi and Ricky, along with some bad ass metal and another Interview with our labelmates. check out www.rockstation.ch for infos - it's on tonight, thursday, 03.04.2008! Love cataract
